i - We bought Virginia II taps for both our basins and bath. These taps look great and appear to be well constructed. The only issue we have had with them is that the nozzles are not particularly restrictive, so if your water pressure is high, the flow of water is very strong and can splash out of the sink. This is easily rectified by getting an 20mm male aerator nozzle and fitting to the tap, only costs a few pounds and makes all the difference.

Please Note:

For the Virginia tap to operate, your water system will need to produce at least 0.5 Bar of pressure, though we recommend 1 bar for best performance.

This can be achieved if you have one of the following:

  • Combination boiler systems
  • Gravity fed systems (only with a pump)
  • Megaflow system
  • Pumped hot water systems
  • Un-vented hot water systems
  • Standard pressurised hot water cylinder type systems
